I contacted Window World to request their $189 installed windows (as advertised on TV). The rep came out, told me about the windows, he spent about an hour measuring and re-measuring the windows, tried to talk me into more expensive windows and more windows and doors...

:( :? I called in on the 1 800 # to get information about setting up an appointment.

I put in my zip code to get to the local vender and when someone answered with hello I asked if they had a vender in OC CA. They said they do not know? She said she was in North Carolina. I told her something is wrong with your telephone service it directed me here.

She told me that it was not her service. I asked are you contracted to just pick up calls for Window World? Yes.

Than it is part of your service to notify someone at the company that people can not get through. With that I felt distressed and done with training what is suppose to be WW support personal and retreated from buying because the rest of the journey I can see from other people's comments would only get worse.

We recommend Window World of Sacramento

By a large margin Window World of Sacramento was the least expensive window replacement company we quoted. We replaced 15 windows with tax break eligible double pane windows. The installation crew arrived a month later as scheduled and took 3 days to install. They were professional, clean and courteous. They cleaned their work area and removed all old materials. During the final inspection the crew indicated they weren't satisfied with a piece of trim material and said they'd return to replace it. We also located a slight scratch on our most expensive window. The crew immediately initiated a replacement - no hassle. A month or so later the crew returned quickly repaired the trim and glass. We're completely thrilled with the Window World of Sacramento experience. We saved a fortune with these guys, we got a quality product and most importantly a high level of customer service after the sale. Thanks Window World!

Just because someone is pleased with the quality of the service they received does not give you, "oh really", the right to attack them. How do you know that the specifics of the job that was performed?

I can appreciate that maybe you've had a bad service with this company, but that should not discount someone else's good experience. I came to this website looking for good, quality, fair reviews.

We've all been taken to the cleaners, but I always give the most credit to those who are honest about the job performed. I'll know to take with a grain of salt (or maybe an antiacid) any reviews you've written, "oh really".

#188374

So you think you got a good deal huh? Do you know building code?

Know that windows that are located next to an exterior door that are less that 14 inches off the ground or windows that are large must be made of tempered glass? Go ahead and look over a disclosure form you would fill out if you were going to sell your home. It will ask you about any improvements you made to the house, see the place where it asks if permits were pulled? Well, Meehafr, they didn't pull permits, and guess what...

you will be in trouble if you lie, sued possibly, because it can be verified. Oh what a great deal Window World gave you! The buyers could make you rip out all the windows, or lower your price on the home!

Ha! Great deal huh?

Window World of Sacramento is great!!

As an Operations Manager for a 80,000 sqft manufacturing facility I have had numerous occasions to contract with firms for various construction projects. In all of my years I am hard pressed to recall a company as dedicated and compliant as Window World of Sac. They have gone the extra mile in customer service and satisfaction. We had 9 sliding triple pane windows, 2 double-hung windows, a garden window and a large double sliding door installed as well as the installation of Alside Prodigy siding around the entire house. We cannot say enough about the quality of workmanship, work ethic, professionalism and just plain courtesy everyone involved in this project exhibited at all times. Bryon Goldberg (Company President) and Peter Weiss (Salesman) worked with us to fulfill our needs and expectations while managing to stay within our budget for both windows and siding. It was wonderful to deal with people who kept us and our vision in mind rather than the sale. The installation started on the date agreed on. Window installation was done first headed by Crew Leader Terry Allen. He and his partner did an exceptional job removing and installing all windows and the large doors. Terry insured everything was square and fit properly. He demonstrated all installed components and provided information on the care. All windows and the doors fit and operate flawlessly. Their removal and installation process was completed in two days. Window World of Sacramento worked with Vinyl Solutions for the installation of the Alside Prodigy siding. Again I cannot give enough praise for the job these folks performed. The crew was headed by Slavik Moroz who was relentless when it came to detail. His crew removed the old siding, wrapped all exterior exposed wood, installed soffit under the eaves, fiberboard on the frame, installed a moisture barrier and then the siding. the process took 8 days, no day was below 93 degrees. We are pleased with everything that was done. If you live in or near Sacramento I highly recommend that you use this company. They are great people.

I did not call Mr. Hotshot any thing but Hotshot.

I am not vulgar! It is about money, big business!

#188393

Oh Johnny, you forgot to mention something here. All commercial buildings must by law in any state in the United States have permits pulled and a building inspector must inspect the windows.

It's a matter of public safety. Or in your exuberance you happened to over look that minor detail. Tell us all where your 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located so OSHA, the department of labor will know where to go to enforce the safety rules that are meant to protect your workers from dummies like you who cut corners and place their workers lives in jeopardy! California has it's share of earthquakes and fires, that Garden Window and Large Double Hung Window MUST BE TEMPERED!

Otherwise it can shatter and kill your workers! Mr.

Hotshot you are an ***, more concerned with your bonus at the end of the year than the lives of the people who work for you! :(

Do not use this company

Upon ordering we were told that the person we ordered from (Kendal) would be there when they were completely finished to make sure everything was correct. He never showed up. So we had to work with the installation guys. We were also told it would take 2 days to complete everything. It took 4 days and they only worked 1/2 the day. We ended up having a wrong type of window, a cracked window, and the installation guys were somthing else. We also bought our doors from them. They were going to install our door knobs upside down, and screen doors on our garage, NOT the house until I complained about them. I was on a 1st name basis w/ the receptionist by the time this work was done. .

Had the same experience here. Our salesman (Heath) was nowhere to be found after we signed the contract. Had them do windows and siding which amounted to two different subcontractor groups at showed up. The window installers were great, the siding installers were ***

Go to the point where each morning I would hand them a list of problems with the siding and walk around with a laser pointer making sure they knew what I was taking about. This went on for four days until they finally got things right. Lot of it was *** things like the siding on the left side of the door did not line up with the siding on the right side of the door. Dents in the siding, wavy siding, crooked j-channel above windows and on and on.

Having to stay on top of the sub contractors was a pain and something Window World should have done. Window World did not even show up when the job was done to inspect, or call to make sure we were happy.

Resolved: Window World Poor Installation and Customer Service

Orlando, FL. - Window World - I had 18 windows replaced throughout the house. It took 4 weeks but they finally showed up with a crew that looked like they just came from standing around a burning trash can on the corner lot. They were hurried, sloppy and left a complete mess and just left. They also missed several places where caulk was needed. When they removed the windows in the master bathroom, they got the black "glazing" material all over the window jambs and the blinds (ruined them). After several calls/emails, the owner finally emailed me back with "sorry this happened, it must be a case of 'Friday-itis'??? . He said they would get someone out on Monday to clean up the mess, as if we were going to sit around in filth all weekend. We cleaned it up ourself. It was like pulling teeth to get him to give us a $100 credit. He has yet to replace the ruined blinds. This was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. No customer service ! I took pictures and videos of everything I claimed here.

Had an issue with one of the windows they installed - after 4 years. The frame apparently had a hairline crack that let water in and ruined the drywall and baseboard inside my den.

The not only replaced it but paid for my contractor to replace the drywall and baseboard. I was impressed.

It did take several follow up calls to remind them and about 3 weeks but, they took care of it. Wanted to be fair.

#406973

I also will not recommend this company to anyone.I replaced the windows in my bedsrooms and bathrooms with the low-e,argon gas double hung windows that were supposed to be energy efficient and cut down on outside noise...what a joke!there is absolutely NO diference in my home..no reduction of outside noise and the bedrooms and bathrooms are just as cold and drafty as they were with the old windows.don't waste your money on these windows.also, the woman that answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional and will literally laugh at you if you complain about your new windows.(mine failed inspection due to inadequate caulking on one of them by the way).she called me a liar when i told her there was no difference with these windows versus my old ones!i asked for the manager to call me back...never did!she probably didn't even give him the message.

#296610

there windows look great installers suck and are sloppy

#270149

What I don't like is their dishonest market practices. They wasted my time with a $189 window claim and thought I was *** enough to believe I should pay more because I have a block house. I heard they are being sued for this.

The man in the office Dennis is a complete joke and should not be a manager he yells at people on the phone and has a really bad attitude I don't know how this guy has his job I will call the Better Business Bureau to complain about him

#211839

Let me get this straight, there was a little grease on a blind cord and customer started this brain damage? OMG! This customer is mental.

#181996

I see a lot of negative feedback on this window company and was truly hoping to buy theirwindows for our new construction home but after reading several of the "BAD FEEDBACK" it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can't stand when a company advertises a price and then does the bait and switch, so it looks like i will be buying the Milgard windows...

#155080

Your company is a joke!

#154276

sounds like they did all they could to make the customer happy.

This installation could obviously have been handled better. We did fail to double check the entire house before we left and make sure we left no debris behind. We are not perfect all the time and we have appologized more times than we can count. We credited Mr. Chase $100 for cleaning and inconvenience the evening of the installation and as soon as we learned of the grease on the blind cord the service tech was dispatched to clean it. When it was learned that it could not be cleaned sufficiently, we sent him a check to replace it.Here's the time line:

Friday 5/14/10 3pm Installation done, debris left behind.

Friday 5/14/10 4pm Emails/Phone calls from client about debris,Response= apologies from Office staff, phone call from installer, offers from both to come out Saturday morning to clean up.

Friday 5/14/10 5pm Email from Window World manager (at the time in an EPA class)to get specifics from client to take care of problem.

Friday 5/14/10 7:30pm Manager contacts client via cell phone to discuss the matter personally, credit for $100 is issued.

Saturday 5/15/10 11am Client emails manager satisfied with resolution

Friday 5/21/10 Client emails office having discovered smear on blind cord

Friday 5/28/10 Schedual Friday appointment per client for service tech to attempt cleaning of blind cord, unsuccessful

Friday 5/28/10 6:22pm Manager emails client concerning blinds, agrees to replace entirely

Tuesday 6/1/10 Window World check is issued for $75.00

These are the events that took place. We take alot of pride in the customer service aspect of Window World and have thousands of satisfied customers because we know we rely on the valuable opinions of our clients and their overall satisfaction for our next phone call.

Thank you

I ordered windows in mid-October 2013, it's now mid-January 2014 and no windows yet. When I made the order and gave them 50% up front I was told 6-8 weeks for production and install.

Well it's been 12 weeks. Dear wife is not happy and has made attempts to talk with them but communication with them is not quite timely or easy. Anyhow today 01/15/14 got call @ 3:31pm to confirm an install for 01/16/14 @ 8:30am. Great but they haven't called before so they obviously think that I can drop everything and take a day off on a moments notice.

Which isn't going to happen.

(side note City says that no one has pulled a permit yet, don't think they are going to get one after 4pm the day before)

I tried to call them back when I got out of my meeting at 4:13pm and they were not open (business hours are 8am-4pm)so there was no one to inform that with such short notice...nobody's going to be there.

So at this point I am concerned enough to recommend NOT ordering windows from Window World of Denver. :sigh

Window World has caused me so much trouble

Window World has caused me so much grief! I never intended to learn so much about window installation, feel I could write a book about it now. Protecting your most precious investment, your home, is a lot of work when you deal with the likes of "Window World" headquarter in North Carolina, and local franchaise. So much has gone wrong, so much time has passed with no results of hours of work contacting, researching, all the details to try to get resolution. Windows that aren't what they claim to be, warranty which is not honored, misrepresentation and omission of the truth, it's been a tremendous strain for me. Collecting of stacks of evidence. Handed it all over to The Voss Law Firm, you can contact them at www.TheVossLawFirm.com. My health has suffered, I've had headaches so severe, and stomach problems, digestive problems. Just this lone new homeowner just trying to get energy efficient windows, keep my home safe with safe windows and get the damages caused by installation repaired. The nightmare isn't over! The other large window installers want Thousands of dollars more to correct the problems that were created by Window World! If you have money to burn contact Window World to install your windows because that is what it will take to fix your problems later!

Use sears or home depo for competency! This company is a joke!

#762745

I was thinking about replacing over 20 windows but I am glad I read this Window World thread. I will find another company, or maybe install myself

#188365

The location does not matter. Their supplier for the windows is the same all across the country.

Good luck finding out wherethe windows are are actually made! The brochure that you get is a corporate generated brochure, with the claims of the Warranty and that they sell Energy Star windows. Ask them for the contact information on the Warranty they claim is the best in the country.. I dare you!

Then ask them if you are being sold "Energy Star" windows, there is a completely different label used by actual Energy Star windows, with a map of the United States on it. The windows are extremely hard to open, good luck if you have small children or elderly who have to get out in a hurry because of a fire!

#188340

I appreciate your comments since I was planning on using this company to do my windows. Can you tell me which location you used?

Thanks

Window World has caused me so much trouble

Window World has caused me so much trouble
Window World has caused me so much trouble
Window World does not care about it's product and service. I've spoken to the CEO, written certified letters, and then after 11 months, Window World "said" they would do something to fix it. However, according to the Secretary of State in the State of Texas, they don't have a charter to do business in Texas, they haven't kept current a Registered Agent. When I informed them about this and asked to speak to their attorney, as usual they dismissed it and I never heard from anyone regarding the problem. My concern is I don't know law and what other mess I could be getting into if I allowed them back at my home to fix the mess they created when they aren't a legally recognized company in Texas. I wouldn't want to have more problems then I already do. Handed it over to professionals in the law business. The Voss Law Firm in Woodlands Texas. www.TheVossLawFirm.com

I pray that you have had better luck than we have. Window World is famous for their "we'll let our corporate lawyers handle this"...never fails....EVERY TIME THEY SCREW UP!!!

We will never do business with this company.

We started as installers for them and after just three short weeks we decided that we didn't want our company's good name anywhere tied in with Window World!!! Not to mention, their practices and how they insist on those cheap sticky strips around the windows are not correct window installation!

Window World did Great!!!

I had Window World install 16 double hung windows with grids in my home right before I sold it, (to help sell quicker) The sales guy was very nice, polite, and seemed very trustworthy, he;s the only one that i felt this way about from the other companies I had estimates from, I had four other estimates. There warranty is great , everything is covered with no labor and it's transferable, which was huge because of my reason. We sold our house and our new house needed windows as well. Of course there was no question who I was calling, Window World. I am very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. I would definetly recommend Window World of the Queen City to anyone lookin for great windows from a great company. i even donated money to there charitable foundation for St. Judes Hospital

Beware of cut vinyl windows from window world of the queen city

i have to warn people what window world of the queen city is doing with their windows. i have installed many,,many windows for window world in the cincy/norhtern KY area that i would NEVER put in my house. was told to do this(or we were fired and they would find someone to make them fit) BEHIND the customers back so they didn't see what we were doing. if a sales rep mismeasured a window ( or in some cases,,,the ENTIRE house, yes,,,i have cut an ENTIRE house of windows(15) to make them fit) in stead of returning it and ordering one to fit the right way, they would have us rough cut the window on the jobsite. sometimes taking off as much as 1 3/4 inches. now,,,as an installer for nearly 17 years,,,i have NEVER came across a company that did this,,until window world. you can only imagine what kinda problems might arise if you cut a vinyl window down to about nothing,,,just to make it fit and collect you money. good luck trying to get ahold of the manager at this store also,,,he likes to go to the gym and check out facebook during the day. many times i and the customers needed to find him,,,and found out (from the office girl) he was at the gym or on facebook. they also put people in charge that have NEVER installed a window before . make sense ? not to me. bottom line,,,this company is very sneaky in that they will put a product in YOUR house that they wouldn't put in their own house. nothing but a headache to deal with this company. call backs,,,extra costs,,,,no one to talk to ,,,and cutting your windows if they were measured wrong. call at your own risk

ha,,ha,,ha,,, ya right... you guys go ahead and keep cutting windows your sales reps cant measure right and see what happens in the future.your gonna have lots of windows to replace for free.

because if the factory makes them,(to the measurements given), then the frame of the window is insulated..if you cut the frame,,now you sold a window that is not what you told the homeowner they were getting. and do you think the factory(who made the windows correctly)is gonna remake them for free?

dont think so. homeowners beware

#276763

Window World carries a lifetime warranty. If a customer has issues with windows, they simply call to correct the problem.

This warranty includes craftmanship. Seems to me there are a few installers that couldn't meet Window Worlds standards and got canned.

#255506

hate to hear that. its so easy to the job the right way with windows.

but they do not worry about quality. lucky that's all you had to have shaved off. i have seen a lot more cut off windows. your best bet would be to complain to corporate.

don't know how much that will help ya tho.i wrote them a few page letter telling them what was going on at this window world in Cincinnati.everyone is connected to the top tho.so words and info( on the cut windows) get pushed under the carpet.until people realize what they are getting when they call this company. nothing will change.all i can do is tell my side of how that store is run.

there are companies out there that do care about quality. i really hope people start looking closer at this company

#255407

Yes, window world of Peoria, Ill.also cut my window frames down because they were not measured correctly. No they did not use a flush trim router to remove the additional eighth inch needed- their "carpenter extraordinaire" used a free hand circular saw.

You can guess the lousy aesthetic result, poor fit and broad daylight visible gaps. Additionally to my horror, I went into one room during an installation and found a teenage doofus installer taking a hammer and prybar (ostensibly being used as a wood chisel) to trim back my 120 y.o. red birch window sill to make a window fit properly.I kid you not, he was swinging his hammer at the prybar on this beautifully crafted 1690 red birch window like he was chopping fire wood. Real ***.

Any reputable window installer will also plumb, level and shim windows to avoid future "racking_" and poor window alignment. I watched Window world of Peoria install all of my windows with the "shove it in the hole" technique, put a few screws in the the side pockets and spread liberally unpaintable silicone caulk in irregular lumps around the exterior window frame. Fast and sloppy is their game.

Hired an attorney, but the nuisance factor and dollar amounts vs. attorney fees too small to pursue.Good luck

im glad you had a good exp. with them.

i installed for them,,,so i know what goes on. they r very sneaky and do some unbelievable things to their windows. they will have problems with their windows they cut on the job site to make fit. sooner or later.

why do you think they come out to measure before ordering? so they can be put together at the joints properly,,,and sealed. now,,,when you miss measure a window,,,you re-order it so it fits. not with window world.

they tell you to go out of site of homeowner ,,cut it,,,and make it fit. so you are in turn cutting away the structure of the window sent from the factory. doesnt sound like a window i want in my house.

say what you want,,,but i believe people out there need to hear the bad,,,just like you told them you had a good exp. i would want to hear both sides before i decided.

#250283

I have noticed that someone with the "handle" installer 40 has been making completely false accusations about window world allover this site. This is so wrong and I hope that consumers are smart enough to get facts.

My windows from window world are awesome, three years in, this is the best home improvement we have ever done. We have done just about everything possible to our high end older home. The quality, price and people are top notch. This company is the real deal...

Clearly many are a bit envious of their success???!!! :) :)

#139119

ha,,ha,ha,,thats funny . dont think they would publish all my customers comments in the WW news letter if the were bad. try again

#138253

Looks like a *** poor installer that got canned for *** work to me! Quit grasping for straws.

Very typical. :cry

#138108

i am glad you had a good experience with them. and no,,im not a competitor.every company can says the same thing about the rest of them.

and cut throats are the name of this business,, doesnt matter what field of trade you are in(drywall,,carpentry,,,electrition,,roofer,,,etc...,,,if you want the job,,,you are obviously going to say your product and service is better. all im doing here is letting people know what was done with some windows,,,because sooner then later ,,they will start having trouble with them. if you have problems in the future with your windows,,,and come to find out they did things that were not supposed to be ,,that caused the prob,,,wouldnt you like to know? or be aware of it just incase?

im thinking the first prob they will have is warping.

because of how much was cut off the window,,,,the frame that was made to keep it from warping is GONE. just rememeber this complaint if you ever hear of something similar thru people or the news.

Window World is Misrepresented

After reading these complaints about Window World and viewing consumer comments, I am very upset. Window World stores are independently owned and operated across the nation. Single experiences from single stores should not tarnish the entire Window World name. I had my windows replaced in Springfield, MO, and they did a FABULOUS job. Also, they honor their warranties to the full extent. I could not be happier with the products and the service. I would hope people would begin stating which location they are referencing. To all of you reading these posts, I would advise to call your local Window World. They can provide you with local references, and you can physically meet with their prior customers. Do not let this site make you pass up such great prices and products.

Uh... it certainly does tarnish the Window World company as a whole, and it should!

So you had a great experience - good for you. This site is for pissed off customers who've had a bad experience.

It has been a few years since Window World's traveling circus came to our house and I still hear and see poor reviews. This contradicts your high regard for the company. They, Window World, are obviously not concerned enough about enforcing proper install procedures and standards when it comes to all of these locally owned and operated outfits under the Window World name.

I have first-hand experience dealing with customer service reps at their headquarters. They are helping to make a bad name for themselves.

My windows were measured wrong and the windows ended up an inch too short and not wide enough to fill my rough opening. This was going to make my vinyl not fit back under the J channel when replaced.

Rather than reorder the proper size windows, they started using 2''bys and 1''bys to fill in the gap. This was making my windows protrude outward as well, since they were screwing the window flush to the nearly 3 inch wood frame I now have. The vinyl would definitely reach now. However, my windows would look more like storm windows.

I have never seen anyone try to adapt a house to fit a window. I finally stopped the madness and had them order me new windows. The owner wasn't wanting to reorder. If I had not been home while this was going on, I would have surface mounted windows and my vinyl would have been cut too short to go back after proper sized windows would have been put back in place.

I am now waiting again for windows.

It has been 9 weeks in all! :?

no it sounds like you are using this site as your scape goat you must be a window world salesman or a window world owner, either way even as they are independantly owned it is the same senario all over the usa, drafty windows, *** poor workmanship, subcontractors and flat out bait and switch! BUYER BEWARE ALL COMPLAINTS ARE THE SAME ALL OVER THE USA!!!

So as a franchise each franchise gets it's windows from a different manufacturer? And they have a different warranty than the parent company?

Would a franchise act independently contrary to guidelines set forth by the parent company? Seems we have examples of how orders come from the top and trickle down, just look at Toyota! I don't believe any of the comments made that Window World is a good company to do business with. What I got was not what I paid for, nor safe, or legal.

Lots of people maybe fooled by hype. Just whoever got the LowE/Argon double pane windows for $189 as they state in their advertisements. Tell us your name and your address if you are so satisfied. And if you are satisfied, what on earth are you doing here...promoting Window World because you have a financial interest in the company?

Show yourself! :(

Employee

I understand if it was one complaint, maybe even two. by pages and pages..

Come on what world do you live on.. My guess window world!!

Window world is not a franchise. It is a license.

It is the same as any major auto company. Are there not GM and Toyota dealers all over the country? And they're individually owned, are they not? Same idea with Window World.

Being backed by a national name is something that re-assured me when I was buying my windows. I wasn't stuck with some small town place that wouldn't back their product. The salespeople and the owner I dealt with were fantastic, and don't let anything on this website deter you from doing something wonderful for yourself and your home!! I thought the same thing until the owner himself explained this to me.

So don’t let one bad review ruin it for you! Make up your own mind!

Praise for Window World!!!

I sure hope that most of the consumers out there are smart enough to realize that most of this B.S. on this board is from competitors that are on the *** of closing their doors. It's simple economics people. They do more windows in the United States than anyone, when you buy more the price goes down. Thats how they crush the wannabe competitors. Wow! I'm getting a little worked up. I wonder if they will hire me for future PR work? Window World has done numerous jobs for me and my family and will continue to do so. They are corporate sponsors of St. Judes Childrens Hospital, they donate their aircraft and pilots to the Veterans Airlift Command(to transport wounded soldiers and their families) and several other community programs. They have over 217 stores and some may not be perfect, but simply ask for references! I commend Window World of North Charleston for their wonderful staff, and professional installers. You will definitely be doing more houses for me!

window world doesn't make windows, they buy them from alside and peddle them as ww. Product was builders grade, and wait till the seal blows..I have two fogged windows, and hey won't honor the warranty, without a service fee?. Pissed in west ashley sc

Oh, and we HAVE had an inspector since the windows were installed because we've done quite a lot to the house since buying it five years ago and were interested to see what it was up to at that point. The windows were a plus - they're a great grade for our area. We don't get hurricanes, but we DO get tornadoes.

#154023

We had 8 windows installed four years ago. The installers were beyond professional - cleaned up after themselves, worked quickly and efficiently and Window World was the only place that said, "Not a problem" with our very large window in a 1940s-built house that none of the other companies had seen (that's what they claimed).

It took the installers 15 minutes.

They're easy to clean, are perfectly installed and no cold OR hot air gets in (and we're in Iowa). Love them and have referred them to several friends who are ALSO happy.

All you happy Window World people, state your name, address, price you paid per window. Tell us about a professional inspection that you had done by an outside source that backs you got what you paid for.

Oh, so you didn't have an inspector inspect your windows? And you aren't willing to testify with documents that you got the windows for $189.00 each and that they are all Low E /Argon filled, and Tempered glass (where it's required). So what you are saying is you are ignorant! Your home is not energy efficient, or safe!

if you go to sell your home, and the permits weren't pulled (as required in more and more locations) Heck, good luck when the Hurricanes come, you might even have flooding in your home! I can push on my picture window and the window gives! How's that going to hold up with Hurricane winds! Or maybe they weren't intended to hold up?

Humm... More window replacing, why how convenient! What a profitable business to be in! A lot of repeat business built in!

Except what Window World didn't figure is not all customers are ignorant, or willing to walk away when they've taken their thousands of dollars... not in this economy!

window world was the best. They were like family.

Prompt service, great price. Too bad there aren't more companies like this in America

Same price, size does not matter, think about it. Their brochure warns you about having an aluminum spacer between the glass, that it can cause damage, condensation and a wide variety of other thing, then they sell you a window with an aluminum spacer!!! DUH!!!

They are a copy cat of McDonalds, worst food, best advertising.

#113753

:grin AAA+++ Another great job for me here in S.C. as well. I will always use Window World and recommend them to my friends and family as well.

#113499

I agree! They provide a great window at a great price.

That's value. As far as a few complaints - when they do over 100,000 jobs per year, you are a large target and you are bound to see some complaints.
