Today I received an email that my deposit is in the process of being refunded. I will mark this issue resolved when my credit card company confirms this refund from the merchant.

Ordered windows from Window World of AZ 4/3/2019. Sales rep advised me the glass was the same as that used by Renewal by Anderson, and I was basically getting the same quality product.

3 out of 4 windows had flaws that were installed on or about 4/29/19.

(There are no flaws in any of the Renewal By Anderson windows that are currently in the home). Bill from Window World called and insisted company would replace the three flawed windows. Bill still insisted the glass is the same as Renewal by Anderson's windows when questioned about the quality. It should also be noted that Installer shattered purposely old windows prior to removal leaving shards of glass for me to pick up that didn't land on their drop cloth.

Approximately two weeks later, same installer came with replacements, but stated the glass had huge flaws and he would not install them. He stated he did not check windows before he brought them here.

During May and June I called Window World and was assured I was on schedule for the week I called, but never heard back. I believed they abandoned the job, but In later June I get a call that window replacements were to be installed 7/3/19. The first window was broken upon installation.

The same installer stated he checked the windows for flaws before he brought them this time . After breaking the garage window, which is now taped outside for safety he stated he was going to proceed to install other windows. I advised him that my bathrooms and whole home were just newly renovated and he must be careful not to cause any damage in the process of changing the windows there and I wanted to be ensured he would be responsible if he should cause any damage to my property and he was free to inspect the area first. The installer then he stated he would not continue to install them, but when I asked another worker at my home to verify he heard it was the installer that was choosing not to do the install.

the window world installer stated he changed his mind and he was going to install the window replacements. Instead, he chose to abandon the job and drive away.

I had contacted his supervisor Keith at window world, and requested they just take their windows back so I could purchase elsewhere. (I had requested the windows be removed too the day they were initially installed even if my house had to be boarded up). This is the third time out here, and now I have a broken window and two flawed windows.

The installer has (as he introduced them) his two younger sons doing a majority of the work. Are they insured for damages they may cause too?

I requested Keith to just refund my deposit and take their windows back since three tries should be more than sufficient to illustrate poor quality.

The Deposit was 50% of total cost. Keith refused to refund the deposit but did state he would be willing to take the windows back at first, and then after he called the company owner he stated I must keep the windows, yet his installer abandoned the job.
